Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Books I Read But Can’t Remember Anything About

Hiya My Little Predators!!

Welcome back to:
A weekly feature created By The Broke And The Bookish
Currently featured on That Artsy Reader Girl

This Week's Topic:
Ten Books I Read But Can’t Remember
Anything About

1. Because Of Low By Abbi Glines
I used to adore anything and everything Abbi Glines wrote. That level of enthusiasm has died down these past years. This was one of the less memorable books she wrote, in my opinion.

2. Lucky In Love By Karina Gioertz
According to Goodreads, I rated this book 3 stars. It wasn't memorable because I don't have the faintest clue what this is about.

3. Touching Smoke By Airicka Phoenix
This is one of those series that I know I love, but can only remember the first few chapters of the first book. It only gets worse from there considering I read this book twice in either 2013 or 2014 and the third book in the series is only now being written (4 or 5 years down the line).

4. Binds By Rebecca Espinoza
This yet again draws a bland. I have no idea what it's about and I don't particularly remember reading it in the first place. Thought Goodreads informs me I rated it 3 stars.

5. Reality By Dani Heart
I only remember that I received this book as a free copy from either a blog tour or the author. I have no idea what it's about, only that I rated it 3 stars.

6. Scorched By Mari Mancusi
This book is about dragons and there are two brothers that either help or disturb the heroine. That's all I can recall from the story. Other than that I'm blanking out.

7. Darkness Rising & Darkest Powers Series By Kelley Armstrong
I know I love, love, love both these series, but at this point, I can only remember the names of the two characters I shipped throughout the Darkest Powers Series: Chloe & Derek. I wish the author would expand this universe into more stories and age the characters a bit in the future.

8.  Broken Skies By Theresa Kay
I know this book ended on a really interesting cliffhanger, but I can't remember any details about it. The sequel took a year or two to release and that was enough time for me to forget everything I knew about this book.

9. Hexed Hearts By Becca Vincenza
I don't remember anything from this book. I don't even remember reading it.

10. The List By Kate L. Mary
Again, I have no idea what this is about (though I can guess from the title). Why don't I remember reading these books? Why is this a phenomenon?

Have you blanked out on books you've read in the past?
Would you re-read them today? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. I still have lots of love for Glines, and I actually do remember Low. It is interesting looking at all these posts, because I seem to remember characters the best, but I guess I should not be surprised by that, as I am a character driven reader.

    1. For me a story needs to have an interesting plot with a good character attached to it. I can't stand one without the other. I wish I was still interested in books Abbi Glines released recently. They just don't do it for me anymore :/
