(Limelight #2)
By Elisabeth Grace

Publication Date: March 2014
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Romance

Being the daughter of a big-city mayor, twenty-one year old Skye Summers has giant shoes to fill in her first real job out of college. With the public spotlight on her family, and her dad’s expectations running high, she jumps at the chance to work side-by-side on an important project with her sexy new boss.
Playboy entrepreneur Landon Steele has built a successful entertainment PR firm and broken more than a few hearts along the way. He’s counting on his enthusiastic new assistant to help him expand his business into LA… until he discovers she’s a pampered rich girl who’s in the public spotlight as much as his famous clients. Still, he agrees to give her a chance, and soon the two are heating up the bedroom as well as the boardroom.

But when Skye’s ex-boyfriend threatens to reveal a dangerous secret from her past, her job, relationship with Landon, and her father’s career are suddenly all on the line. Will she be forced to leave Landon? Or will she pursue her heart, regardless of the cost?

10 Things No One Knows About the Series Limelight/Characters
By Elisabeth Grace

*Everything in RED is my opinion!!

1. The title for Rumor Has It changed many times. Originally it was Sight Lines and then Rumor Mill. When my editor suggested Rumor Has It I knew that was the right title for the book!

2. I envisioned the song that Mason and Amber collaborated on to be a lot like Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull’s song “On The Floor”. (That makes TWO of us!)

3. I had a vision in my head of what Mason in Rumor Has It looked like but had no picture. Then one day I stumbled upon a picture of Jace Dean and I kid you not, it was exactly how I pictured Mason looking.

4. A lot of people assumed that I had been to Virginia after reading the books but I actually haven’t. Google is just that good! ;)

5. I don’t worry too much about the names in my books but I do obsess a little over the name of the male lead. It took me weeks to nail the names Mason Nash and Landon Steele. I want them to be swoon-worthy but still speak to the character. (All that obsession paid off! Those names are awesome! They make a statement and I can feel the sexual appeal from here =P)

6. When Regina from Mae I Design showed me the first mock-up for the Rumor Has It cover I thought it was perfection and didn’t change a single thing about it.

7. Originally I was going to do Jasmine’s book as book three in the series, but Calder’s story just wouldn’t get out of my head.

8. The first thing I knew I was going to do plot-wise for Rumor Has It was Mason and Ellie’s meet cute. The entire scene came to me start to finish and that got the ball rolling on the entire story. (LOL I LOVED that scene C: I laughed so much I cried!)

9. Landon’s Chevelle in Picture Perfect is actually my dream car. Some day I hope to own one.

10. I originally had a lot of specific music references in Rumor Has It that named specific songs characters were listening to but was told by a lot of people to cut them in case readers couldn’t relate because they didn’t know the song. I did that, but now wish I hadn’t. (I actually LOVE it when there's a specific song mentioned in a book. It's annoying to try and imagine a song a character is listening to, since you don't really know what his/her taste is music is.)
