Gift Guide For Book Lovers
Whether you're looking for something on a budget or something extravagant here's a list of things I, as a book lover, would love to have/buy/receive as a present this holiday season.
P.s. There's always next year feel free to save up ;)
* The items mentioned in the post will be linked somewhere in the post.
1. So there's a company that allows you to buy a bookshelf type door for ANY room in your house. To a bookworm that the equivalent of having a hidden library. Just make sure you surreptitiously get the right measurements to their door. That last sentence didn't sound creepy at all :)
2. If they talk about a certain author a lot or have mentioned a favorite author check their personal library to see if they have a signed edition of the book/author. If not scour the earth to find and buy a signed edition.
Everybody needs this lamp in their lives, even if just for aesthetic purposes!
4. If your bookworm appreciated the small things in life, I'd recommend some accessories with a bookish twist:
5. Candles! Who doesn't love a nice smelling candle with a bookish twist?
What are you going to give your bookworm or better yet yourself after reading this post?

I have seen that book light around, and I so, so covet it. It's very beautiful. I don't think I have anywhere to put it, but I love it anyhow.
ReplyDeleteI also don't have anywhere to put it but if I did get it I'd even hang it from the ceiling in order to "make" a place for it. One can never have too many books or lamps... shaped as a book :)
DeleteI NEED a door like that. One of these days, when I am less poor, and am in a forever house, I am splurging on one of those, holy crap. It IS the ultimate dream! These are awesome suggestions!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you! Splurging on a door like that while paying rent isn't a smart decision. I'm also waiting on being less poor and buying a house to get one of those made. Such a dream that would be! Thanks!
