Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I Really Want To Read But Hasn't Been Released Yet

Hiya My Little Predators!!

Welcome back to the Top Ten Tuesday meme!!

It's a weekly feature created By The Broke and the Bookish!

This Week's Topic:
Top Ten Books I Really Want To Read But
Don't Own Yet
Hasn't Been Released Yet

The reason I'm switching it up a bit  is because most books (when they release) get bought on Amazon on that day. So I don't really have the problem of not owning books I want to read. Though I have to content myself with eCopies when I'd kill to have a paperback or hardcover of a few books. If they're signed, it's even better! But that's not always an option =/

*The covers are in no particular order.
*Covers are linked to Goodreads.

1. Invaded
(Alienated #2)
By Melissa Landers
The romantic sequel to Alienated takes long-distance relationships to a new level as Cara and Aelyx long for each other from opposite ends of the universe...until a threat to both their worlds reunites them.

Cara always knew life on planet L’eihr would be an adjustment. With Aelyx, her L’eihr boyfriend, back on Earth, working to mend the broken alliance between their two planets, Cara is left to fend for herself at a new school, surrounded by hostile alien clones. Even the weird dorm pet hates her.

Things look up when Cara is appointed as human representative to a panel preparing for a human colony on L’eihr. A society melding their two cultures is a place where Cara and Aelyx could one day make a life together. But with L’eihr leaders balking at granting even the most basic freedoms, Cara begins to wonder if she could ever be happy on this planet, even with Aelyx by her side.

Meanwhile, on Earth, Aelyx, finds himself thrown into a full-scale PR campaign to improve human-L’eihr relations. Humans don’t know that their very survival depends on this alliance: only Aelyx’s people have the technology to fix the deadly contamination in the global water supply that human governments are hiding. Yet despite their upper hand, the leaders of his world suddenly seem desperate to get humans on their side, and hardly bat an eye at extremists’ multiple attempts on Aelyx’s life.

The Way clearly needs humans’ help . . . but with what? And what will they ask for in return?

2. Dawn of Ash

3. Killer Instinct
(The Naturals #2)
By Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Seventeen-year-old Cassie Hobbes has a gift for profiling people. Her talent has landed her a spot in an elite FBI program for teens with innate crime-solving abilities, and into some harrowing situations. After barely escaping a confrontation with an unbalanced killer obsessed with her mother’s murder, Cassie hopes she and the rest of the team can stick to solving cold cases from a distance.

But when victims of a brutal new serial killer start turning up, the Naturals are pulled into an active case that strikes too close to home: the killer is a perfect copycat of Dean’s incarcerated father—a man he’d do anything to forget. Forced deeper into a murderer’s psyche than ever before, will the Naturals be able to outsmart the enigmatic killer’s brutal mind games before this copycat twists them into his web for good?

With her trademark wit, brilliant plotting, and twists that no one will see coming, Jennifer Lynn Barnes will keep readers on the edge of their seats (and looking over their shoulders) as they race through the pages of this thrilling novel.

4. Alpha Divided
(Alpha Girl #3)
By Aileen Erin
Life has been crazy since Tessa McCaide moved to Texas. She’s gone from being a normal-ish girl with visions to a super-powered werewolf. She’s fought off vampires and broken a nearly unbreakable curse. And she’s got a hot mate, Dastien Laurent, to keep her busy.

Things are looking up until the full moon ceremony rolls around. Before Tessa can strengthen her bond with Dastien, the local coven crashes the gates, demanding that Tessa—their heir apparent—be returned. If the pack wants to avoid a war with the witches, handing Tessa over is the only option.

Tessa doesn’t want to cause an all-out fight, but joining a dark-magic coven isn’t on her to-do list, especially if embracing her magic side means parting with Dastien. When the coven leader tries to control Tessa with dark-magic, Tessa realizes she has to dismantle the coven or prepare the pack for war. Either choice will change her life—and her world—forever.

5. Fractured Suns
(Broken Skies #2)
By Theresa Kay

*No cover yet.
We came in peace. Lie.
We had no role in the Collapse. Lie.
I have always been honest. Lie.
I never lied to her. Truth.

Jax has her brother back, but even stuck in a tiny cabin with him, Flint, Peter, and her new-found Grandfather, she's never felt more alone. When Rym shows up pleading for Jax to come back to the city with him at Lir's request, it doesn't take much for her to decide to go get the answers she craves. But their reunion is cut short and Jax is forced to leave Lir behind to continue on to Bridgelake with some unexpected travel companions.

In near constant torture at the hands of his uncle, Lir hasn't seen daylight or linked to anyone in months. After a lifetime of connection, the pain and loneliness is almost too much to bear. But seeing Jax again, if only for a moment, gives him the hope and strength he needs to keep fighting. With the rest of the E'rikon blinded by Vitrad's lies, it's up to Lir and Rym to stop him.

Though Jax and Lir seem to be on two very different paths, their missions have more in common then they know. It's a race against time to stop the men who put everyone's lives at risk for greed and power. But the people they trust the most might be the very people working against them—and "family" doesn't mean what it used to.

How much will they have to lose to save the people they love? Can they even save each other?

6. Darkest Before Dawn
(The Veil Series #3)
By Pippa DaCosta
“It’s too late to save myself, but I’ll save her, even if it kills me.”

When Akil leaves a nine year old half-blood girl on Muse’s doorstep, it’s not long before the demons come hunting, but this time Muse isn’t the target. The Institute, Muse’s immortal brother, and the Princes of Hell, all want a piece of the little half-blood. What’s so special about Dawn, and why has Akil conveniently disappeared just as Muse needs answers?

To save the half-blood girl, Muse must first save herself, but is it already too late? Muse’s humanity is failing. Her demon hungers. The darkness coiled around her heart lures her toward madness. And all that stands between Muse and her demon’s lust for destruction, is the hope that some half-bloods do get happy endings.

The veil weakens. Titles will fall. A new Prince rises. And if Muse can’t stop them, the demons will have their day.

7. Reborn
(Altered #3)
By Jennifer Rush
Book 3 is told from two different, alternating perspectives--a change from both Altered and Erased. In a sea of darkly ponderous dystopian and angst-filled supernatural, this series provides a refreshing read with just the right balance of action, mystery, humor, and romance.

10. Undeniably Chosen
(Significance #5)
By Shelly Crane
Ava has watched her parents, Caleb and Maggie, live the perfect fairy tale, the perfect love story, played out in front of her eyes her entire life. Her family is love, life, and happiness. The Jacobsons are everything a family should be and Ava is loved and well taken care of. But the one thing that’s missing from her life is the one thing she’s waited for every day, the one thing her kind knows will make them complete, the one thing they thought was gone and lost forever.

    Her significant.

Seth has lived with the Watsons his entire life. They’re the only family he knows, but he knows that there are things they keep from him. He knows that they lie and they do unspeakable evil, things from when he was a child that he can barely remember that cling to the edges of his memory. He barely remembers his real mother and all he knows is what he’s told. He doesn’t know what to trust. He wants to believe that the Watsons love and care for him, have his best interest at heart, but isn’t so sure of that anymore when he finally—after a lifetime of waiting for her—meets his soulmate, and the Watson’s first act is to try to take her away from him.

The Virtuoso worlds collide, hearts are exposed, humans are endangered, and the lives of Seth and Ava are changed forever. They’ll have to love without judgment or reservation, they’ll have to be wise and accepting beyond their years, they’ll have to forgive for things before they’ve even happened, they’ll have to trust without seeing, have faith without knowing, and they’ll have to light their own way in the dark when everyone else is blind to show them the way. And more than anything else…

they’ll fight like hell to keep each other.
