Battle Of The Book Boyfriends - Gabriel

Hiya My Little Predators!!

Let this battle begin!
Who's skins and who's shirts?
OK, OK.....
Maybe I'm getting a little ahead of myself C:

Kelly Oram is hosting a Battle Of The Book Boyfriends over at her website, but there's a catch: Only the guys in her novels can dual it out.

I'm here to defend Gabriel, also known as 'The Seer', in her Supernaturals series Book #1. To say I like him is putting it mildly...I'm crazy like that. No judging allowed in this blog!

This  is Gabriel is my mind:
(Or as close a picture I could find that resembled him)

* I found this picture on Doug Emmons Pinterest Account. I couldn't really find anything on the guy in the photo, there was a lot of different photos of other people pinned as well. If anyone knows him feel free to contact me and I'll add the reference. Picture found here.

Why should Gabriel Win Battle Of The Book Boyfriends?

Very good question. Now for my arguments to corroborate that.

*If you haven't read Chameleon (Supernatural Book 1) By Kelly Oram you may find some spoilers. You have been warned.

1. He's NOT pushy. Let's face it, when Gabriel was handed Dani, he could have had his way with her. After all, she was considered by the High Council, his property. But, guess what? He didn't. He did the exact opposite. He gave her her space and let her be accustomed to her new life.

2. He's SO innocent. I don't know about you, but I find it sooo adorable when you can tell a guy has had no experience with anything whatsoever. It's strangely endearing to me.

3. He lets her decide what she wants. He's not there to dictate her life, even though they're stuck together (for reasons that, in the beginning, are crucial) he still lets her breathe and do what she wants.

4. Even without thinking he's romantic, caring and considerate. He says the sweetest things too:

"Danielle, you do not have to do that. I would not ask it of you."

"I mean... I do not know how to be someone's mate. I am not even sure how to be someone's friend."

"The Councilor said this would make your transition here harder, but I saw the way you clung to it when you arrived and thought you might be happier having something from home with you."

"I want you to know that I am committed to you, Danielle. I accept this union and give myself to you as a mate."

"What can I do to make this easier for you?"

"I'm here for you Danielle. You need not feel alone."

5. He was so understanding and self sacrificing that it was hard to witness his pain throughout the novel.

6. Also Russ described him as:

"(...) quiet little Shakespeare-quoting emo boy (...)"

You know what? I'd rather have an intelligent down-to-earth guy then a crazy jealous one who won't get off my back any day C:

7. He has such a meaningful tattoo, which is strangely sexy as hell if you take in his nice guy appearance. He doesn't look like the type. Anyway he has symbols tattooed in a straight line down his back in which makes a reference to:

"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

8. He's a bada** when he wants to get his way with the Council.

"I believe the Creator blessed me with the talent for receiving the out comes of my desires."

9. He, strangely enough, developed a sense of humor while around Danielle.

10. He's Gabriel. If you've read the book, you just CAN'T not like him C:
